Technical Qualifications

Argent Consulting achieved the Small Business Specialist designation in early 2006 becoming the first Small Business Specialist Certified organizations in Northern Sonoma and Mendocino Counties, validating our knowledge of the small to midsized business market. There were several specifications needed to accomplish this designation. We also have accumulated many IT certificates and Microsoft certifications over the years as well as attending various technology oriented schools and classes.

Proof of qualifications will be provided to any current or potential client on request.

Operating Systems include: WIN 9x, NT 4.0, WIN 2000, XP Home/Pro, NT4 Server, W2K Server, W2003 Server, Small Business Server 2000 and 2003, Terminal Server, SQL Server, ISA 2000 and 2004.
Applications: MS Office, VBA, V.B., SQL, Crystal Decisions, Dynamics, FrontPage, Exchange and others.

Personal History

Ronald Arowcavage, MCP, SBSC, Owner/Consultant started in the computer field in 1980, taking courses consisting of computer fundamentals and logic at Terra Technical College in Fremont, Ohio using punch cards for entering data and programming. He continued his career in the seismic industry working with digital recording equipment and data processing in the Gulf Of Mexico and Alaska for several years. A marriage brought him to Santa Rosa, Ca. where he worked for Costco Wholesale, opening the Santa Rosa warehouse where he continued working on mainframe maintenance and computer related jobs. The concrete floors were not kind to his feet (resulting in 13 foot surgeries), so he was trained by the state after numerous tests found a high aptitude for computers. He graduated from JBASS and Associates in December of 1999 with straightA’s earning Internet Information Specialist and Computer Information Systems Professional certificates. In January, 2000, he received his first of many Microsoft competencies. He was then hired by Accounting On Computers in Windsor, where he enhanced his networking skills and specialized in programming Office, custom programming solutions and custom financial reports for Levis (jeans), Opus One (winery), Coppola (director and winery) and others. A merger and consolidation led to opening his own business Argent Consulting, the Argent is short for Argentina where his wife was born. Ronald Arowcavage is a consultant and owner of Argent Consulting. The high point for Argent Consulting is being able to partner with growing, innovative and successful companies that want to leverage new technologies to increase their success going forward.
